Why an independent inspection after water damage matters
Restoration and remediation contractors are often excellent — but they also have a financial interest in the size and scope of the work. An independent inspector documents the actual moisture and biological conditions objectively, protecting your insurance claim and giving you leverage in the process.
What we assess after water damage
The full extent of moisture penetration in drywall, framing, subfloor, cabinetry and insulation; whether affected materials have been drying properly; whether mold growth has already started (typically within 24–72 hours of sustained wetness); and whether airborne spore counts are elevated.
Mid-project verification
If drying equipment is already on site, we can perform moisture-verification visits to confirm the process is working before walls and floors are closed back up.
Insurance documentation
Our written reports — including photos, thermal images, moisture maps and lab data — are formatted for insurance adjusters and often help clients avoid coverage disputes.
We don't do the remediation
That's the point. You choose the licensed remediation contractor you trust; we simply verify the conditions before, during and after.
