Why we don't do remediation
An inspection is a diagnosis. A remediation is a treatment. When the same company diagnoses and treats, there is always an economic incentive to find more, recommend more and charge more. That model works for the contractor — it does not work for the client. Our decision to focus exclusively on inspection and testing removes that incentive completely. If our report shows an issue, you're free to hire any licensed remediation contractor you trust. If it shows no issue, we say so.
Built for Encinitas conditions
Coastal North County has its own moisture profile: marine humidity, slab-on-grade construction, older stucco flashing, HVAC condensation and, in older neighborhoods, aging plumbing that quietly leaks for years. Our inspection protocol is designed around these realities. We know where to look, what to sample and how to interpret results in the context of a coastal California building — not a generic mainland home.
The reporting standard we hold ourselves to
Every report is written to be understood by a homeowner and defended in a courtroom. Photographs, thermal images, moisture readings, chain-of-custody documented lab samples with outdoor controls and clear next-step recommendations are all included. Real estate agents, property managers, attorneys, insurance adjusters and physicians across $Encinitas rely on our reports; we take that responsibility seriously.
What clients tell us matters most
Honesty, speed and clarity. We answer the phone, we show up when we said we would, we explain what we find in words that make sense, and we don't inflate scope to justify a bigger invoice. That's the entire business.
